I really LOVE summer in Holland

When you actually can still enjoy the day after work hours

Having a drink and chat with neighbours, friends on a terrace until bedtime

Drinking coffee

 Enjoying the yachts passing by on the canals

and the lovely Dutch houses

until the sun goes down around 22.00

I once spoke with with a guy on Bali

He visited the Netherland once in summer

His conclusion was that the Dutch must be crazy people

Because the sun keeps shining after 17.00

According to him it must have affect on the human mind as to him this is not natural

For me, life in Holland is beautiful in summer
