One of the most amazing places I have seen, it is … magnificent!
If it was a painting, it would be a masterpiece, work of art with no borders
The colours of the canyon are so beautiful, all shades of red
I could stand there and stare at this amazing view the whole day long

The Grand Canyon is 446 km long (277 miles)
The South Rim is about 5,5 hours driving from Vegas
Best views of the South Rim are the Mather Point and the Desert View Drive
At the Desert View Drive there is even a Watchtower where you can have the best view of Desert View Drive
The Watchtower has a small shop that offers products
from which some are made by Non Native Americans like shirts, jewelery and other gifts products

The Grand Canyon is very good accessible
I brought my hiking shoes with me as I thought we would have to walk and climb to get a glimps of the canyon
But the National Parc really has taken care of a good road, and many view points to see all the beautiful spots of the Grand Canyon
Even the old, disabled or children visit the canyon

Grand Canyon is added to the list of “Most beautiful places on earth” that I have visted ❤

If you drive from Vegas to the Grand Canyon, stop by at the Hoover Dam. Its great to see something big as that made by men

Quality Inn in Williams town. If you have time, pay a visit to the town centre as well
