Why?

Everything is in dollars thus cheaper than in Europe

Best shopping areas visited in West America:
->San Francisco city center ~ beautiful city center and a great shopping area (mall and shops in the streets)
->Santa Monica ~ mall where the major fashion brands are located and a boulevard with the standard shops outside, a plus is the various entertainments like live music and dance

First impressions from a person with passion for shopping, of the shopping facilities; I miss the glamour in the shops. The “WoW” effect that I have when I shop in Western Europe, for example Paris and surroundings.
All the brands are there plus the brands that you don’t have in Paris, but buildings in which the fashion is sold, the way how fashion is presented, just misses glamour or the “WoW” effect.

Sometimes you see people wearing fabulous outfits, you then just want to know where you can get it! I don’t have that here in the West of America. A friend informed me that real Americans are getting out on the streets after work hours. Meaning that the majority of people I have seen are tourists. I was already wondering.. How can this be possible as movies like Sex and the City and all other great movies shows fabulous fashion and such great taste. Where are all the ladies in fabulous colored summer dresses, beautiful jewelry and high heels? Where are all men in beautiful polo shirts or blouses and sexy jeans? It seems that if you want to watch the American style on the streets, you need to be on the streets after work hours and in weekends. Everyone is at their job or even having a couple of jobs. I was there at the wrong locations & the wrong time.. what a pity!
