Yesterdays Bijenkorf Fashion show was beautifully set up!
Bijenkorf is the Dutch Lafayette, a big chic warehouse full of beautiful brands. The Bijenkorf is located in seven big Dutch cities; Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Rotterdam, Utrecht. Every now and then, privilege members are invited for a glamorous Fashion Show.

For this occasion and because it was so hot, I dressed up in a tropical BCBG Maxazria outfit which I bought in LA. Shoes are from Valerie Paris and bag from Furla. Accessories are from Maje (ring), earrings from Bijoux Brigitte, vintage Rolex (watch) and the latest Ted Baker (bracelet).

The location of the show was just perfect. The beautifully historic and elegant “Nieuwe Kerk” in Amsterdam is located at the Damsquare, at two walking minutes from the Bijenkorf store. And in the middle of the city center.

This building is so beautiful from the inside. I have been walking for years on the Damsquare but never went to visit the building inside. It’s amazing! Don’t forget to get a glimpse inside when you happen to visit Amsterdam city center.
The Bijenkorf did their best to welcome the guest. Lots of drinks (fresh juices and bubbles) but also beautiful colorful sweet bites were present. It was very chic, just like the store itself.

The best part of the Fashion Show is the lady playing life classic music together with modern music. That with the combination of models, everyone with amazing hair and shoes walking in the newest trends which the Bijenkorf now sells in their stores.
The clothes varied from amazing to ordinary, not Fashion Show worthy. But then perhaps there were guest in the room who like to wear ordinary clothes.
After the show I went to the store and bought some clothes which inspired me. So well done Bijenkorf!
