If you have followed my blog for a while now, you have probably noticed that last year (2020) I found out that Estee Lauder suddenly stopped producing my favorite eyeliner. If I would have known, I would have bought a box full of eyeliners. The Estee Lauder double wear zero smudge eyeliner was great! I used it for many years, it even stays when you go swimming or scuba diving.
I’ve been trying out new eyeliners since a year now, but lots of the “waterproof” eyeliners don’t stay on my skin. This week I was pleasantly surprised with the new eyeliner that arrived by mail. It turned out to be the perfect replacement for the Estee Lauder double wear zero smudge eyeliner.
So, which one is it?! My new favorite eyeliner is from YSL, Yves Saint Laurent couture eyeliner vinyl 1. Here are some pictures for inspiration.
Second liner (marker) is Guerlain Mad eyes. This liner only stays good on my skin for some hours (but it is much better than Too faced better than sex eyeliner, the last is not added in this picture, it smudges quickly)

The eyeliner bottle looks similar to the Estee Lauder double wear liquid eyeliner, dark black and gold elements
The pencil of YSL couture eyeliner vinyl 1 is finer than the old double wear liquid eyeliner of Estee Lauder, but the liquid looks and feels the same
